Exclusive opportunity: Take a selfie in the middle of Troy’s track
Have you always dreamed of standing in the middle of a roller coaster? Seize this unique and photogenic opportunity on March 7 and 8 at the sensational photo spot at Troy!
Right now, we are busy with the annual retrack work on the wooden coaster Troy. That sounds technical – and it is. We’re replacing large parts of the track and part of the structure so the ride stays in top condition. That means you’ll have to miss the longest, highest, and fastest wooden coaster in the Benelux until March 28. But we’ve come up with something for that! We’re creating a special photo location in a place that guests normally can’t access.

About the photo spot
At the base of what’s called the horseshoe – between the wooden track pieces of Troy – there’s an open space you usually zoom past at high speed. Here we’re creating a unique photo spot where you and your group can take a truly special picture.
Look around – you don’t stand among towering wooden structures every day! The fan-like arrangement of wood supports comes together on a raised concrete platform – the perfect stage for this unique photo opportunity.
Photo times
Normally this area stays hidden behind closed gates, but on March 7 & 8, from 12:00 to 16:00, we’re opening it up for you! Signage on site will guide you in the right direction. If you buy a ticket for one of those days, you can visit the photo spot for free.
Share your photo & win
Post your photos on Instagram with #Toverland or share them on Facebook – who knows, you might win some cool Trojan surprises!
When will Troy run again?
From the start of the summer season on March 28, Troy will be proudly spinning its laps again. You’ll roar down from 35 m height at 90 km/h, followed by steep climbs and sharp turns like the horseshoe. Later in the season, we’ll tell you more about this sensational wooden coaster!
