The ride’s limited capacity and the technical challenges that Maximus’ Blitz Bahn has brought over the years led us to choose a completely new type of attraction: the swinging bobsled. The track layout, signature elements (such as controlling the speed), and the theme will all remain.
When will the new attraction open?
We are aiming to open the new attraction during 2026–winter season.

Maximus is secretly working on his new invention, so we can’t reveal everything just yet. But we can already share that many beloved elements of Maximus’ Blitz Bahn will remain.
The chalet that the queue passes through will remain completely intact, as will the theme, the track layout, and the outdoor canopies.
