On Wednesday 16 August, we organised our fifth Midsummer Evening. We were able to welcome around 10,500 guests during this summer event. This large number of guests not only makes last Wednesday the busiest day of 2017, it can also be written into our history books as one of the five busiest days in the history of Toverland.
Midsummer Evenings are very popular amongst the visitors of Theme park Toverland. “More than half of our visitors choose to visit us during this event and give these evenings a score of 9.1”, says communication manager Tessa Maessen. “Yesterday had all the ingredients for a magical day: summer holidays, good weather conditions and the park remained open until 23:00 hours. A lot of visitors stayed until the end to watch the fireworks display.” Also other days on which we welcomed the most visitors were during our Midsummer Evenings.
Next week, on Wednesday 23 August, is the last Midsummer Evening of this year. Toverland remains open for an extra hour (until 19:00 hours) until next Sunday, because of the contruction holiday in the south of the Netherlands. Our extra summer activities – magical family show d’JUNGA and the special shuttle bus that runs from Horst-Sevenum station – run until Sunday 27 August.
