Heatwave approaching: Theme park Toverland introduces Siësta-ticket

Toverland introduces a special Siësta-ticket from Sunday 22 July. This ticket gives access to the theme park in the late afternoon against a reduced tariff. It is Toverland’s response to the ongoing heat.

The current tropical temperatures in the Netherlands are perfect for having an afternoon siesta, just like warm countries. It completely ties in with Port Laguna, Toverland’s new Mediterranean entrance. “By offering a Siësta-ticket to our guests, they can have a relaxing start of their day and then take the whole family to Toverland in the late afternoon to enjoy all the beautiful things that the theme park has to offer,” says commercial director Carin van Berkel.

Lots of chilling

Port Laguna transports visitors to a summery port with an azure lagoon where they can relax in a holiday atmosphere. It’s not just the lagoon, where little streams of water can offer some cooling, also across the rest of the park is water a key element. Log ride Expedition Zork and water ride Djengu River are attractions where water fun is guaranteed for the whole family. Besides Port Laguna, Toverland also recently opened a new theme area called Avalon, with boatride Merlin’s Quest and rollercoaster Fēnix. Catch a fresh breeze with a ride on this spectacular coaster that flies down from a height of 40 metres with a speed of 95 km/h after which it inverts three times.

Siësta-ticket

A Siësta-ticket for persons >120 cm costs € 17.50 and children between 90 – 120 cm pay € 12.50 per person. For the moment, these tickets are only available at Toverland’s ticket office on Sunday 22 July, Monday 23 July, Tuesday 24 July, Thursday 26 July and Friday 27 July 2018. The theme park is open during these days from 10.00 until 19.00 hours and tickets are valid from 16.00 hours. Toverland will decide on a weekly basis whether it continues to offer these Siësta-tickets. More information can be found on toverland.com/siesta.
