Theme park Toverland presents on seven Wednesdays during this year’s summer holidays, the magical Midsummer Evenings. All six theme areas will show live entertainment from 17:00 hours and special characters will make an appearance. A magical fireworks display ends The Midsummer Evenings in a spectacular way. Toverland is open during this summery event until 23:00 hours.
Our Midsummer Evenings entertainment programme is more varied than ever this year. Toverland has a total of six different theme areas thanks to a new entrance that’s called Port Laguna and a new themed area called Avalon. “Each themed area has its own, fitting entertainment offer”, says Entertainment Manager Luke Verhoeven. “This ensures a varied programme for everyone. Entertainment also starts two hours earlier this year, so that as many guests as possible can enjoy the Midsummer Evenings.”
Toverland is covered in a colourful festival atmosphere. Visitors of Port Laguna can meet a magical statue, called La Sirena Regida, or enjoy Mediterranean sounds from the band Sonidos the Solaris. Our inn The Flaming Feather comes to life thanks to the medieval music of The Troubadours of Avalon. In the Biergarten there’s ‘Stimmung und Spaß’, and near wooden roller coaster Troy you can see a sensational fireshow called Helios. Visitors are able to cool down in various water attractions or enjoy a ride on a roller coaster at dusk.
With the arrival of theme area Avalon, Toverland also sees the addition of a very special resident. During the Midsummer Evenings are visitors able to run into the almighty wizard Merlin. The Magistralis-family will make an appearance in Port Laguna. This family has the important task to collect all valuables and bottles that wash ashore the beach of Port Laguna. In their special warehouse, called Magiezijn, they challenge everyone to discover their own magic.
A magical fireworks display closes the Midsummer Evenings with a bang. Port Laguna will be the stage for the first time. This show, called ‘Discover your own magic’, is tailor-made for Toverland with music from the new themed areas. The Midsummer Evenings are on Wednesday 11, 18, 25 July and 1, 8, 15 and 22 August 2018. Discounted tickets are available via Toverland’s website.
