It’s raining international prizes for Theme park Toverland

Toverland had the honour last week to receive no less than six international awards. Spain and Germany gave Toverland the award for Best European Theme Park and wing coaster Fēnix won Italian and German awards for Best New Attraction. Prizes were also given to their new entrance with the name Port Laguna and the new theme area Avalon. Toverland has won a total of nine awards this autumn.

The Spanish Parks and Attractions Community travelled especially to Toverland to hand over two PAC Awards to general director Caroline Kortooms. Toverland was given the award for Best European Theme Park based on hundreds of reviews and an international expert jury’s judgement. Also Port Laguna and Avalon received an award for Best New Attraction. Caroline is enormously proud of these awards. “It is great that Toverland is appreciated far across the national borders by both fans and the branch.”

German succes

Toverland’s recent expansion hasn’t stayed unnoticed with their German neighbours. The Parkscout Awards, which is an initiative of trade magazine parkscout|plus, presented Toverland with the award for Best European Theme Park up to 1 million visitors. Also 35,000 readers of website Worldofparks.eu gave Fēnix the award for Best New Attraction. Toverland also came second in the category Best European Theme Park for children. A few weeks ago, trade magazine Kirmes & Park Revue gave Toverland three European Star Awards, for Best Theme Park up to 1 million visitors and for the rollercoasters Fēnix and Troy.

Italian theme park ‘Oscar’

Also Italy awarded Fēnix some prizes. The spectacular rollercoaster won the Parksmania Award for Best New Attraction. These awards are given by online magazine Parksmania.it and are known as the Oscars of the Italian leisure branch.
