Audition call-out: Toverland is looking for children to play in new Christmas show

Theme park Toverland presents a new magic show this Christmas holiday. The show is about a young magician who transforms into his older self and discovers his true magic. Toverland is looking for boys who want to play the part of the young magician. Peter Eggink, winner of the Magicians’ Oscar, plays the part of the adult. Children can audition now via Toverland’s website.

A Magical Dream

In a show called A Magical Dream, a young boy wants to learn how to perform magic and is given a vision of his adult life. He becomes the magician he always wanted to be and discovers that true magic comes from within and that everyone can make their dreams come true.

For this show, Toverland calls out to boys aged 9-10 years to come to our audition. The boys will play the young version of magician Peter Eggink, who already received a Merlin Award for his magical performances. Acting experience and/or experience with performing magic is not required. A full profile can be found on Toverland’s website. This link also contains an application form. The auditions take place on Wednesday afternoon 21 November 2018.

Shows

A Magical Dream can be seen every day this Christmas holiday from Saturday 22 December 2018 until Sunday 6 January 2019. The show is performed three times a day and lasts about 20 minutes. The show is part of the Magical Winter Weeks, Toverland’s Christmas event. Three theme areas are open during these Magical Winter Weeks: indoor areas Land van Toos, Wunderwald and outdoor area Ithaka, with its spectacular wooden rollercoaster Troy. The park is also shrouded in a magical Christmas atmosphere.
