Snow every day during Toverland’s Magical Winter Weeks
Toverland is going to be extra atmospheric during their Magical Winter Weeks this Christmas holiday. Especially for this event, the theme park is decorated with countless fur trees, baubles and little lights. Visitors are also able to enjoy wintery entertainment and a brand new magic show, called A Magical Dream. Besides indoor areas Land van Toos and Wunderwald, also Ithaka with its wooden rollercoaster Troy is open. And in Ithaka, real snow is guaranteed.
A Magical Dream
In a new show called A Magical Dream, with award-winning magician Peter Eggink in the leading role, a young magician transforms into his older self, and discovers his true magic. Earlier this year, Toverland called out to young boys to come and audition for the part of the young magician. From around thirty responses, eight boys from all over the country were selected to play the young Peter Eggink. The show’s premiere is on Saturday 22 December and visitors can see the show three times a day this Christmas holiday.
Real snow
There’s a portion of real snow in Ithaka every day. “During our Magical Winter Weeks we want to create the ultimate Christmas experience for our visitors”, says Luke Verhoeven, Production leader Entertainment. “And that means snow of course. That’s why we make 600 kilos of snow every day, with which we transform Ithaka into a real snowy landscape”. Also a huge winter fire can be found in Ithaka where visitors can warm themselves and roast marshmallows while enjoying live music.
The Magical Winter Weeks take place from Saturday 22 December 2018 until Sunday 6 January 2019. Visitors can enjoy the attractions in theme areas Land van Toos, Wunderwald and Ithaka – weather permitting. Tickets are available via Toverland’s website at € 17.- per ticket, the price at the ticket office is € 21.- per ticket.
