Collect your Magic Member Badges

Because you visit Toverland more often as a Magic Member, we want to reward you! Every time you scan your visit to an attraction, you collect badges in your Toverland Account. These badges unlock unique rewards. They also show what kind of Toverland visitor you are: a Coaster Fanatic or more of an Ice Cream Lover. We’d say: collect them all!

We are currently in a test phase, where we are exploring how our passholders collect badges and rewards. We monitor usage and may still make adjustments, or even stop the program or expand it further with new badges, rewards and additional features.

The more you visit Toverland and scan attractions, shows and purchases, the more badges you earn. Collect them all and show others what your magical days at Toverland look like.

Special rewards: discounts & secret menu items
Your loyalty is rewarded: the more scans you collect, the more badges you earn. Repeat visits to attractions also earn you extra stars that can be redeemed for rewards such as discounts on souvenirs, food and drinks, or access to exclusive “secret menu items”, snacks that are not normally available.

    Park entry

    Some badges are earned automatically. When you visit the park and your pass is scanned, you automatically receive the “Toverland Fan” badge.

    Riding Fēnix or getting soaked at Expedition Zork? In the queue you’ll find signage with an NFC tag. Scan it to collect badges and rewards!

    Visit the attraction multiple times? Keep scanning the tag, because you’ll earn more stars for your badge each time!

    Food, drinks & souvenirs

    When you buy something in our restaurants or shops, you normally already receive a 5% discount. But some purchases now also earn badges.

    Have you collected enough badges and stars? Then you can unlock extra discounts on food and drinks or even gain access to secret menu items!

    Tips for scanning NFC tags

    Step 1:

    Check NFC availability

    Most modern smartphones support NFC. On many devices it is already enabled.

    If not:
    1. Open settings.
    2. Search for NFC.
    3. Enable NFC if available.

    Step 2:

    Scan the NFC tag

    Are you at an attraction, show, or other location with a Magic Member Badge sign?

    Hold the back of your phone against the NFC logo and move slowly until the tag is detected.

    Tip:
    NFC sensor placement varies by device (top or middle). Check your phone model.

    Step 3:

    Start collecting

    After a successful scan, a notification or webpage will automatically appear. Tap it to go to your Magic Member Account.

    1. Log in
    2. Multiple Magic Members linked to your account? Select the person who visited the attraction or show.
    3. Start collecting: the badge will be added automatically.

    Frequently asked questions

    The scan doesn’t work, what can I do?

    • Check to see if your phone supports NFC
    • Check to see if NFC is enabled (if applicable)
    • Unlock your phone
    • Hold your phone against the tag a little longer
    • Try a different spot on the back of your phone
    • If necessary, remove any phone cases or accessories that might interfere with the signal
    • Check to see if your internet connection is active

    In addition to these general terms, the following applies:

    1. Definitions
    1.1 Magic Member: active Toverland subscription holder
    1.2 Magic Member Account: digital account environment for Magic Members
    1.3 Magic Member Badges: digital images collected in your Magic Member Account
    1.4 Reward: possible personal reward after achieving (five stars for) a specific badge
    1.5 NFC tag: stickers in attraction queues and around show locations that guide a phone via NFC technology to the correct webpage
    1.6 Pilot: The Magic Member Badges are in a test phase. Toverland reserves the right to modify, temporarily disable, or fully terminate badges, stars, rewards, or parts of the system at any time.

    2. Participation
    2.1 Participation is only possible for Magic Members who have actively linked their subscription to their account.
    2.2 Maximum one account per person.
    2.3 Check-in at attractions or shows is only possible after the subscription has been scanned at the entrance of Toverland.
    2.4 Groups linked in the app may also check in for each other, provided all linked persons are actually present at the attraction or show.

    3. Collecting
    3.1 Badges are collected by:
    3.1.1 Scanning the subscription at the entrance (maximum once per day).
    3.1.2 Registering attraction and show visits via an NFC tag in the queue (maximum once every 5 minutes per attraction. Shows can be registered once per performance.).
    3.1.2.1 These NFC tags can also be found in alternative queue lines for guests with disabilities.
    3.1.3 Scanning the subscription when purchasing food, beverages or souvenirs.
    3.1.3.1 Purchases in food service or souvenir shops cannot be split; if one subscription is scanned, all products are assigned to that subscription.

    3.2 Attractions or products may (temporarily) be unavailable. No rights can be derived from this.
    3.3 Badges are only awarded when systems function correctly. Technical issues may prevent correct processing. Registrations not correctly processed due to a technical malfunction may not be recoverable afterwards, even if the attraction was visited or a product purchased. Long-term issues can be reported via marketing@toverland.nl
    3.4 NFC functionality requires a compatible device. Toverland cannot guarantee that all devices will function correctly.
    3.5 Toverland does not guarantee error-free or permanent operation of the system.

    4. Rewards
    4.1 Rewards are small bonuses intended for enthusiastic collectors. They have no cash value and no rights can be derived from them.
    4.2 Rewards are personal and non-transferable. They can only be used once.
    4.3 Rewards may be temporarily unavailable.
    4.4 Rewards cannot be combined with other promotions or discounts.
    4.5 Toverland determines the content of rewards and reserves the right to modify or replace them, even if a reward has not yet been used.

    5. Pilot
    5.1 This is a test phase that may be stopped at any time if Toverland sees reason to do so.
    5.2 The Magic Member Badges system is an additional service and not part of the subscription agreement. No subscription fee reduction applies in case of malfunction or termination of the system.
    5.3 No rights can be derived regarding future availability of badges or rewards.

    6. Misuse
    6.1 Misuse of the Magic Member Badges system is not permitted.
    6.2 Misuse includes, among others:
    6.2.1 Manipulating NFC tags or systems.
    6.2.2 Collecting badges without actual visits.
    6.2.3 Using scripts, tools or automated processes.
    6.2.4 Fraud involving subscriptions or accounts.
    6.2.5 Any other behaviour considered by Toverland to be contrary to the intended purpose of the system.
    6.3 In case of suspected misuse or fraud, Toverland reserves the right to remove badges, stars or rewards and to suspend accounts temporarily or permanently from participation.

    7. Subscription termination
    7.1 Upon termination of the subscription, access to your Magic Member Account and related features such as badges will expire. Your Toverland account will remain active.

    8. Privacy
    8.1 As described in the privacy statement of Attractiepark Toverland B.V., in-park purchases are stored in the CDP system when the subscription card is scanned at the checkout. This information is deleted no later than two years after your subscription ends. Based on this, badges are awarded. Earned badges remain in your account after data deletion.

    In cases not covered by these terms, Toverland will decide.
